Kerry Alfrey, LIMHP, LADC, CSOTS

I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist with a strong focus on the prevention of sexual abuse and reducing recidivism.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Hastings College and my Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane College. My expertise lies in working with adults and juveniles who struggle with problematic sexual behaviors, emphasizing early intervention, accountability, and rehabilitation. I am committed to creating a non-judgmental, solution-focused space where individuals can address underlying issues, develop healthier coping strategies, and prevent future harm. My approach fosters an alliance between the client and me, helping them take responsibility for their actions while working toward repairing harm and preventing reoffending.

Since 2015, I have specialized in treating individuals who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviors. I am a standing member of the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA) and NebATSA. I am also a member of and certified through the National Association of Forensic Counselors. My training was completed through the National Training Institute, and I am a registered provider with Nebraska State Probation and Parole. I work closely with both clients and supervising officers to support successful rehabilitation and compliance with legal requirements.

Additionally, I conduct adult sex offender risk evaluations as well as Juveniles Who Sexually Harm evaluations. I provide offender-specific outpatient treatment as mandated by legal orders. I am well-versed in Nebraska’s sexual offender registry laws and assist qualifying individuals in seeking 15-year registry reductions after successful treatment completion.

Outside of my professional work, I’m an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoy spending my fall and early winter watching the NFL.
